Are you looking for a weekend bag? One thats not too big, but can pack for a week? It doesn’t matter where you’re going, or what the weather is going to be like — this bag can handle it all. Patagonia’s Black Hole Duffel 45L bag is one of my personal favorite bags to use for any occasion. If I’m packing for a camping trip, or just a weekend in Palm Springs. It might be small, in fact the smallest of the Black Hole collection, but it packs a punch — literally.

It’s a light and compact bag, weighing just 27oz roughly 1 pound. If theres one things you’ll learn to love about the bag is that it teaches you to pack light. Two mesh pockets on the inside come in handy for anything that can be lost inside the bag, and one large pocket on the exterior can hold some essentials that are easily accessible. One other thing to love about the bag is that it fits in its own pocket, which flips out of the exterior pocket for easy storage. Compact is an understatement at this point.

I’ve used the bag from week to week, for months on end now. Primarily during the summer it was helpful when I took camping trips or took it to the beach. As you can imagine all the dirt you’ll come across while camping, and the sand/water you’ll encounter on the beach. I couldn’t imagine having any other bag taking on these types of situation, but lets not stop now. Bring on the fall breeze, and winter snow — I’ll definitely push the duffel to its limits, but I wouldn’t imagine it not coming through.
