THE COLLABORATION
After its sought-after collaborations with Kaws, Futura, and Os Gemeos, Hennessy has invited Shepard Fairey, arguably one of the most important and most popular American artists of the early 21st century, to design his own Hennessy Very Special Limited Edition. The collaboration had everything to do with their shared values: the never ending quest for excellence, the love of true craftsman ship, the cultivation of consistency, the passion for tradition and innovation.

THE PASSION
Shepard Fairey’s tireless work ethic found its match in Hennessy, and the artist saw in the brand a haven for like-minded artist of their own, who hand make every piece of their craft from the barrels to the eaux-de-vie, similar to his own process: “When I look at the history of Hennessy and how the best eaux-de-vie are saved for years and built upon, I see a connection to the way I work as an artist. I’ve developed, experimented, come up with techniques that I’ve then pushed and pushed and refined.”
