Concept56 is a traveling series that brings together 5 local creatives to work for a period of 6 months to come up with a unique idea for their city with the support of industry professionals — Detroit is the first U.S city selected for the campaign and will land in Nashville next.
The competition was held Sunday, May 22 at one of Detroit’s newest and most buzzed about restaurants called Katoi. Three bartenders competed in three rounds in front of a live audience and panel of judges from Curbed Detroit, Metro Times and Grand Circus Magazine. The mixologist rumble was the official countdown to Jagermeister’s Concept56 Detroit big summer event which promises to be unexpected and attract 1,000 people.
